Letter Sample Requesting For Disconnection

The kirpan under certain conditions

In the wake of the Multani *, we read and hear that the kirpan was now allowed in Quebec public schools. More rarely do we discuss the reasonableness of the conditions imposed on that authorization.

In addition to wearing the religious object is legally restricted to students who purchase in good faith with the orthodox Sikhs, it will be admitted on condition that:
.
- the kirpan be worn under student's clothing;

- the sheath in which the kirpan is not metal but wood, so he lost his injury;

- the kirpan be placed in its scabbard, wrapped and sewn securely in a a sturdy fabric and that everything is sewn at the Guthrie;

- that school personnel can verify a reasonable, that the conditions above are met;

- that students can under no time to dispose of his kirpan and the disappearance of the latter is reported to school authorities immediately;

- that failure to abide by these terms, students would definitively lose the right to wear his kirpan to school .

It is not, in this context, to allow the kirpan under the conditions prevailing outside our borders. It is about bridging the gap between two worlds. In addition, it was possible to allow more simply, wearing a kirpan made of plastics. But, on balance, there a priori reason to be alarmed? Multani v.
