mix between Dan Brown and Indiana Jones, "The Lost Museum" is a novel (thriller?) Who revived the "Amber Room" disappeared from the Catherine Palace near St. Petersburg. There is talk of Hitler, Goering and brazenly looted German museums of Europe to grab the artwork on behalf of Nazi Germany or to satisfy their own pleasure of owning them.
All the ingredients are there: history, art, mystery, wealthy collectors, minions willing to kill to steal works of art, museums private secrets, some sentimental scenes, a touch of eroticism, action ... to reach an entertaining novel ... to read on vacation.
